The Hushpuppies Band

For over 25 years, The Hushpuppies Band has been cooking up a mess of "Southern Fried" rambunctious country and rock n roll.  With a lot of help from their rabid and loyal fans called "Pupheads", the Hushpuppies have blazed through GA, FL, AL, TN, and the Carolinas with a show unlike any other country or rural rock act.  The success of "Songs From The Big House", "Ruff Tracks", DVD Promo "Live From The Buckhead Saloon", and most recent album “Sweet Magnolia” exponentially increased their fan base.

In 1998 the band originally formed to headline the first ever Harvest Moon Benefit Concert near Millen Ga.  The money raised benefited needy adults and children at Christmas.  Harvest Moon became an annual event and continued supporting the Millen area for 7 years running.  The Hushpuppies have also donated their talents for several Relay for Life events benefiting cancer research; and are proud to find themselves supporting another great charity event right here in Statesboro Ga.

AMBUCS is an organization dedicated to helping people with disabilities regain mobility and independence.  They make therapeutic tricycles.  Audrey Thomas, a volunteer supporter of the Statesboro AMBUCS club, is organizing this fundraiser to raise money for adaptive tricycles.  Learn more here!

So, please join us for another great music-filled night, in the classic Emma Kelly Theater, and raise a few bucks for a good cause.
