Due to CDC guidance for the operation of Summer Camps during the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a limit of 20 persons (campers and instructors) per space.


9am-12pm | ages 7-12 | Grande @ West Main | Taylor Ellen

The Young Dancer Intensive Camp is a great opportunity for students who have some dance experience to continue to learn and grow in their technique and dance knowledge during the summer. Dancers will take daily ballet class, be introduced to modern dance, learn the stories of classical ballets, learn about performance hair and makeup, and learn dances to perform for friends and family on the last day! Statesboro Youth Ballet students in Ballet 1 and Ballet 2 are encouraged to enroll. In addition, this camp may be applicable for some Creative Movement 2 students. The skill level for this camp is beginner and intermediate. Friday’s Camp Show will be held on June 19, 11:30am. Fifteen students is the limit to enrollment for this camp.


9am-12pm | ages 8-12 | 2-D @ the Roxie | Deena Scarborough

Campers will celebrate summer by creating art with water in a variety of fun ways! Campers will have a splashin' good time making lots of art using bubbles, sprays, drips, splatters, watercolors and more! Students are encouraged to bring a towel (and possibly a change of clothes too)! This camp is limited to 20 campers.


9am-12pm | ages 5-10 | Classroom @ the Averitt | Robert Cottle

Campers will learn to play their ukuleles during this camp. Designed for beginners, the campers will work on chord progressions, strumming techniques, and ensemble playing. A ukulele concert will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. in the classroom. All students will need a ukulele for the camp. If you do not already own one, check with Pladd Dot. Enrollment for this camp is limited to 15.


1-4pm | ages 6-8 | Classroom @ the Averitt | Danielle Brannon

Come join us in exploring and learning about the importance of recycling and how it has impacted our planet and the art world. Our campers will get to express themselves in creating unique pieces of art out of the “trash” we would normally throw away! We look forward in turning “junk” into art with you, so sign up now and we will see you then! Only 20 campers allowed to enroll in this camp.


9am-3pm | ages 7-12 | 3-D @ the Roxie | Erin Henry | $15 supply fee

Campers will have a blast with all things clay!!! Hand building techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab building will be learned. Each day will have a theme for campers to explore and generate their creativity! Projects will be fired and ready for pickup two weeks after camp. Camp enrollment limited to 20 students.


9am-3pm | ages 11-17 | Whitaker @ West Main | Eddie Frazier

This camp is designed for middle and high school students who have an interest in learning more about theater. Designed to teach the students how to succeed in the fast-paced environment of theater, all are invited from those who have never been on stage to seasoned performers. The week will conclude with a performance from the campers on Friday at 2:30pm. Enrollment is limited to 20 students.
