WEEK 2 | JUNE 8 - 12

Call 912.212.2787 to register!

Due to CDC guidance for the operation of Summer Camps during the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a limit of 20 persons (campers and instructors) per space.

9am-12pm | ages 7-12 | Grande @ West Main | Taylor Ellen

The Intro to Dance Camp is a great opportunity for students who are new to dance or who may be interested in starting dance to get their first experience in the art form. Dancers will learn the basics of classical ballet, modern dance, jazz, and other styles of dance, and play movement games, make crafts, and learn dances to perform for friends and family on the last day! The skill level for this camp is beginner. Friday’s Camp Show will be held on June 12 @ 11:30am. Enrollment for this camp is limited to 15 students.

1-4pm | ages 11-13 | Classroom @ the Averitt | Emmalyne Vickery

The camp content will cover a range of beauty techniques, from time-honored beauty standards to trendy ones that are age appropriate. With the advent of “Beautubers” and “Beauty Gurus” on social media, there are what seems like an endless array of online tutorials and blogs for learning about beauty techniques and products. But many of these self-proclaimed “beauty experts” have no education, training, or real-world professional experience in the beauty industry. It’s tough to know who to trust on-line, and often parents don’t have the time, or just aren’t equipped to educate their kids about basic beauty techniques. This camp will to cover the beauty basics with middle school students. Only 20 students will be enrolled in this camp.

9am-3pm | ages 7-12 | 2-D @ the Roxie | Erin Henry

Looking to get messy this summer? This is the camp. Learn how to make fun items using paper mache’. You will learn how to incorporate recycled materials to create animals, landscapes, armature and lots more. Enrollment for this camp is limited to 20 campers.

9am-3pm | ages 4-7 | Multi-Purpose Room @ the Averitt | Michelle Nesmith

Come and join our magical Princess Arts and Crafts Camp where dreams will come true. Enjoy a fun week of make-overs, tea parties, arts and crafts and even get a visit from a special guest. Campers are encouraged to wear princess dresses each day. Princess Camp is limited to 20 princesses.
