Due to CDC guidance for the operation of Summer Camps during the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a limit of 20 persons (campers and instructors) per space.

LAND OF SWEETS CAMP

9am-12pm | ages 3-6 | Grande @ West Main | Taylor Ellen

This camp is designed for our youngest dancers and is the perfect introduction to dance or for young dancers who have participated in our Creative Movement classes. Campers will learn some basic ballet steps and terminology, play fun movement games, make crafts, and learn dances to perform for parents on the final day, all with a fun Nutcracker theme! SKILL LEVEL: Beginner, ATTIRE: Dance attire, ballet shoes, END OF CAMP SHOW: Friday, June 11th, 11:30am.

RAINBOW FISH THEATER CAMP

9am-12pm | ages 5-10 | Black Box Theater @ West Main | Robert Cottle

Students will create a theatrical production of the classic children’s story. The camp will include not only theater but also have an art portion in which the kids help create their costumes for the show.

LEGO CAMP

1-4pm | ages 4-7 | Multi-Purpose Room @ the Averitt | Michelle Nesmith

Come and join the fun at Lego Camp!! Campers will let their imagination run free while building whatever they want. Campers will also be using Legos for logic and learning activities. We will have a spinning top lego challenge and will also be painting with legos. If you love building with Legos and creating masterpieces, this camp is for you!!

ECO-ART

9am-3pm | ages 8-13 | 2-D @ the Roxie | Jacquelyn Bolton

Eco-friendly Art Week!! Come use trash to make art!! That’s right trash. It’s all good and not the smelly kind! This week we’re going to talk about using recyclables, trash, found objects and repurposing things like old clothes and fabrics and how this is an inexpensive way to make art. You will love how easy it is to make trash art and help the environment at the same time. You will use found objects, trash, recyclables, cardboard, used paper, threads, yarn and maybe even trash from my studio!

CLAY ACADEMY

9am-3pm | ages 7-12 | 3-D @ the Roxie | Erin Henry | Supply Fee: $15

Campers will have a blast with all things clay!!! Hand building techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab building will be learned. Each day will have a theme for campers to explore and generate their creativity! Projects will be fired and ready for pickup 2 weeks after camp.
