Just in time for the Holidays! Ceramic items make great hand-made, personal gifts!

Create your own wonderful clay pottery piece in only two sessions!
Busy creatives will craft fun and functional hand-built ceramics using templates and slabs of clay.

Workshop fee includes demonstration, instruction, clay, glaze, development of specific clay skills and terminology, use of studio tools, and two firings in the kiln. It's everything you need to create a unique hand-built slab pot for your home, yourself, or as a unique gift for a special person.

September Quick Clay Workshop: Make a pair of Hanging Clay Pockets with a Butterfly Theme, suitable for use indoors or outdoors. Hang a clay pocket on a porch, patio, or fence. Add a bit of potting soil and a trailing plant for a touch of greenery outdoors. Hang a clay pocket inside to hold dried flowers, an air plant, or wooden spoons.

No prior ceramic experience necessary.
Instructor: Alice Bennett

Thursdays, September 12 and 26 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Tuition: $35, includes supplies

There's a new project each session! Future Quick Clay Workshops will feature Bonsai planters, Circular vases or planters, Holiday plates, and Tealight lanterns.
