Statesboro Chamber Orchestra – Winter Concert

Join us in the Emma Kelly Theater for the Statesboro Chamber Orchestra’s Annual Winter Concert.

The Statesboro Chamber Orchestra will be performing a variety of string orchestra pieces including music by Arcangelo Corelli, Florence Beatrice Price, George Gershwin, Edward MacDowell, as well as music from Anastasia, The Sound of Music, and Nat King Cole with vocalist Janae Young.

Hear the trill of delicate violins strike through the frigid December air.  The horns and woodwinds rise in harmony matching the crisp rising notes of the strings.  While the resonant cellos deepen the melody adding a comforting warmth into the theater and melting away the icy chill of the night as we settle in for the rest of the concert.

Lead by Orchestra Director Darrell Brown, we welcome the return of several musical maestros to the group for another wonderful concert.
