ONE: ROBIN HOLMES-LANIER

March 5, 2021 | 7:30 p.m.

Born and raised in Brooklet, Georgia, Robin Holmes-Lanier was educated in the Bulloch County School system where she graduated high school from Southeast Bulloch High. Robin went on to attend Albany State University, majoring in Early Childhood Education. Robin is a musician, singer and songwriter and has served in these capacities well as she has always had a passion and love for music. She has played the piano/keyboard for church choirs and sang in churches, educational institutions and other venues all over the state of Georgia. She has presented as a guest soloist, as well as being a member of a few gospel groups who have toured the southeastern United States providing musical melodies and continues to do the same even today.

Mrs. Holmes-Lanier, the songwriter, has introduced arrangements to her students at Baby Grand Music, her very own music studio where she teaches music to children and adults. Baby Grand Music, where Robin is the founder and co-owner, was born out of Robin’s love for music and children, especially because there was a lack of access to music lessons for children beyond their primary and secondary education. This love for music and children matched perfectly to her will to serve the community through music and the Baby Grand Music Studio. Through her love of music and children, Robin has staged productions each year for the students in her class to showcase their talents and gifts to their parents and the
community as a whole.

Robin has been graced with opportunities to be in the presence of many great and renowned artists. However, her testimonials of working and singing with local talents who are just as renowned in their own rights gives rise
to her integrity and ability to work with artists who are beginners in the music industry as well as those who are greatly endowed with musical abilities and who are just as impressive with their musical talents as well.

Robin is also the owner of Robin’s Décor where she serves as a certified floral and décor designer. Her designs
for any event and her floral arrangements displays her love and knowledge of floral arranging and décor to many. Last, but not least, Robin Holmes-Lanier is the wife of Jerry Lanier and they have 4 children: Raiven, Valencia, Robert, Ronell and 9 grandchildren.
