2014 Statesboro Film Festival

Last year, film makers from all over Georgia produced an array of entertaining and thought-provoking films for this festival. Hosted by The Statesboro Herald, the 2014 Statesboro Film Festival promises to be an evening filled with even more exciting original short movies by aspiring filmmakers.


The Velveteen Rabbit

May 2 & 3, 2014 | 7:00 p.m.

Margery Williams’ classic story of a stuffed toy rabbit made real by a boy’s enduring love is brought to life on stage. This musical captures all the tenderness and magic of the original story.


Statesboro Youth Ballet Spring Showcase

May 9, 2014 | 7:00 p.m.

All Statesboro Ballet students from age 3 to 16 will perform in our end-of the year showcase. Dancers have prepared their ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and character dance numbers throughout the entire semester to perform masterfully in this one-night-only performance at Emma Kelly Theater.
